As native prairie grasses, Big Bluestem and Little Bluestem play vital roles in supporting healthy ecosystems through a balance of biodiversity. But they can't do that alone.

Prairie grasses and wildflowers, for example, each benefits from the other, creating a harmonious balance that supports the entire ecosystem. Grasses help stabilize soil, protect waterways, and create corridors for pollinators to move safely through the landscape. Wildflowers, on the other hand, provide food rewards for pollinators, such as nectar and pollen, which then pollinate plants to supply foliage, seeds, fruits, and berries eaten by birds, small mammals, and insects.
